Hey freaks! The Buzzer is still in the blistering hot Las Vegas. It is simply a miracle how one doesn’t fry up in the sun. But it’s worth it. Days in the pool, evenings at shows, or bars, or clubs and nights in casinos or when lucky with a woman between the sheets. Life should be like this. This feels like a holiday. Which made me remember that on this Saturday there are people out there that expect a few holidays. So here they are. Enjoy!
First in the lineup for today is the National Relaxation Day. This is a personal favorite. It is a day when one can just chill, shoot the sh-tuff, and just mellow out. Which is exactly what everyone does on Saturday morning. As well it’s National Failures Day. Ever failed at something? Tried to make something nice and it ended up being a disaster? Well don’t feel bad. Everyone has and today is the day to celebrate the fact that you are basically a human being capable of making mistakes. Otherwise it’s a great holiday to celebrate for its Best Friends Day. It is a day to remember the one guy or girl that is always there for you even though he or she isn’t getting paid and is not a family member. Treat your best friends to something nice. They deserve it. For the dessert fans this is Lemon Meringue Pie Day. Enjoy a slice with a glass of milk today.
Celebrity birthdays are plentiful. It is the birthdays of Ben Affleck, the famous Jennifer Lopez/Jennifer Aniston boinker. He also made some movies, we hear. As well Debra Messing, star of “Officer and Gentleman” celebrates today. The other birthday girls are the sexy Debi Mazar of “Entourage”, and smoldering hot Natasha Henstridge of “Species”. It’s also the day of birth for comedian Anthony Anderson, and the teen heartthrob Joe Jonas (here come the 15 year old squeals). And historically speaking it’s the birthdays of the cook Julia Child and the short dictator Napoleon Bonaparte.
