After five season’s of ABC’s hit show Grey’s Anatomy, T. R. Knight decided that it was time to go.
It all started when Isaiah Washington, while arguing with cast-mate Patrick Dempsey on the set, called Knight a F#$^T. Washington was fired and pushed Knight to come out of the closet.
Since that incident and the return of Grey’s Anatomy season 5, Knight was given less and less camera time. He had a total of like 48 minuted throughout the whole season.
During a recent interview, T. R. Knight said instead of dealing with the problems and trying to resolve them, he decided to just end the contract, leave the show and be at peace. Even his buddy Katherine Heigl couldn’t talk him out of it. We will miss him lots. Wish he didn’t have to go.
